Squadron News Update!

The 412th welcomed a new member on February 5th. DaCoon has been added to the Squadron Roster at the rank of F/O. The 412th has also updated its Squadron Awards. A lot of the awards were updated to reward participation and aerial achievement during Friday Squad Ops.

FSO Frame 3 Armageddon: Japan 1945

The 412th launched 8 F6F-5's to defend C94. The 412th was overwhelmed but managed to destroy 13 enemy aircraft and claim 8 assists. Only one pilot landed successfully. One pilot was killed, and the rest were rescued after bailing out or ditching.

FSO Frame 1 Armageddon: Japan Summer 1945 02/05/10 The 412th launched 5 F4U-1Ds to help escort the Arabian Knights to A23. The 412th shot down 4 enemy aircraft and claimed 4 assists. Only 1 pilot successfully landed (Geepel) and 3 Pilots were captured. 1 Pilot went missing (Disco). DaCoon joined us his first FSO sortie flying with the 412th. He claimed one kill and one assist.
