Fixed Flights

The 412th is a virtual fighter squadron that participates in Hitech Creations, WWII combat simulator, "Aces High". The squad was formed on April 12th of 2001 with the idea of being something different from most other squads in the game.

The following is the current fixed flight assignments following standard Section and Flight organization typical of USAAF squadrons in WW2. The squadron is organized into flights to facilitate unit cohesion for a variety of operational purposes for the 412th FS. One of the purposes of the fixed flight assignments is to provide a delegated method for achieving 412th objectives such as training goals or specific unit achievements. Secondly flights provide a means to delegate the tracking and administration of squadron awards, merits, and milestones. Thirdly flights are used as appropriate during active 412th operations online during organized events. The flight leads are a key part of the delegated authority of 412th responsibilities. Flight leads are expected to take the leadership role for carrying out the purposes outlined above. The following charts are outdated and are not representative of our flight assignments.
